F Word winner Lasan restaurant selects Uniwell

The Indian diner, based in the Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter, beat off competition from 10,000 restaurants to be crowned Britain’s Best Local Restaurant in the F Word final on Channel 4 television.

With such a meteoric rise to fame, bookings at the restaurant have sky rocketed and with such a big increase in demand, Lasan needed a state of the art system to help them cope. 

To streamline the booking process Lasan turned to Uniwell Systems and installed Uniwell’s touch screen based PurePOS Reservations software to manage guest reservations, deposits and table allocation.

The new system automates the booking process for all staff so mistakes are minimised, staff can quickly and efficiently allocate tables, confirm reservations and prevent no-shows. 

Computerising the booking process enables customers details to be held in a central customer database which can be used for future marketing campaigns. The paper based restaurant diary has well and truly had it's day!
