Uniwell EPOS System Installed At The Ruby Lounge

Uniwell TX875 touch screen EPOS System selected for The Ruby Lounge music venue, Manchester.

The Ruby Lounge is a bespoke 350 capacity live music venue and also has a 500 capacity club space located in the heart of Manchester's Northern Quarter and a venue Manchester has always deserved. Expect live shows and bands every night. The Ruby Lounge also has superb club nights, a great bar, a chill out lounge area and pool table.

The Ruby Lounge needed to upgrade from their very old cash register system which was unable to cope with the clients range of products. The old till system lacked security and was not easy to use, mistakes were often made and it did not have an operator interrupt facility, an vital requirement for this venue. The perfect epos system to upgrade to was the Uniwell TX875, three were installed in total along with three cash drawers and a shared receipt printer.

The Uniwell TX875 epos system is ideal for use in bar and club environments such as the Ruby Lounge. It has a 10.4" touch screen which makes operations very fast and easy to use, reducing mistakes. The clerk interupt feature on the epos system has really helped to speed up the service and allowed for more secure transactions. An added benefit is that the new epos system also looks much better after the recent bar refurbishment. With no hard disk drive, no moving parts, and solid state memory the TX875 epos terminals provide a very quick, robust and reliable solution.
